I worked with horses as a Polo groom for many years and as a Vet tech in an Equine Hospital in USA and owned and bred Quarter horses. I have had cats and Cavalier King Charles since 1983. I worked for Alderney Animal Welfare for 4 years. This was a boarding kennels and cattery and we ran a scheme to live trap feral female cats, neuter them, test for feline leukemia etc. Any kittens were tested vaccinated and handled till they were ready to be rehomed. As there was no vet on the island we ran a clinic once a month and I assisted the vets who flew in from Jersey. I boarded dogs in my own home for the last 5 years until moving to Swansea. I am gentle and caring and treat all animals as individuals and with the respect they deserve
