I've always loved animals and I grew up with dogs, a cat and guinea pigs. I walked my sisters dog weekly during middle school for extra income, and I dog/house sat for my sister and a neighbour (separate weeks) last summer. I grew up with a cat, unfortunately I couldn't take her with me when I moved to Dundee so she's happily residing with my parents back home. My parents recently got a dog (Danish Spidz) and I usually walk her for an hour every day whenever I visit as well as teaching her tricks (I thought her how to hug on command). I understand all pets are different, and as long as I'm given instructions/guidelines (temperament, how much food/activity, any concerns like old joints,) I am comfortable taking care of a pet. As I live in student accommodation I can unfortunately not offer overnight care in my flat
