I have two years experience working in a kennel and a week experience being a dog handler for the Great British team for dog sledging in Poland this year! During my time at the kennels I had duties of walking the dogs twice a day, cleaning the kennels, feeding (including special requirements) on occasion medications if required as well as grooming on the odd occasion. During my time in Poland I had three dogs to handle, all with strict diets high protein meats and special water shakes to rehydrate the dogs after racing, plenty of walking and of course plenty of cuddles! As well as experience I would love to work with dogs again as I’m passionate about all animals!
