I completed a foundation degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare in 2017 and I am now looking to gain further practical experience with animals. Since graduating I have been regularly volunteering with Norfolk Wildlife Trust and The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) which has allowed me to indulge in my passion for wildlife, the environment and conservation. This has also enabled me to improve my wildlife identification skills. I have had a lifelong passion for animals, with a recent focus on wildlife native to Britain, but I believe all animals are of equal importance and have equal rights to high quality care and welfare. While growing up, I had a keen interest in caring for the family cats and I'm currently the proud owner of a long-haired Persian rescue. Prior to graduating and moving to Norwich, I was a volunteer dog walker at Brighton's RSPCA which allowed me to apply aspects of my degree. As part of my degree I also gained experience in basic animal handling and dog training. I also have experience of caring for rabbits, hamsters and fish. I have held a Pass Plus manual driving licence since 2013 and have access to my own vehicle.
