I am an animal lover who recently returned from living in the countryside in Greece for 15 years. I worked with horses the whole time and still own one in Greece. During that time I volunteered in the local dog shelter and fostered cats and dogs in my own home. After I started dog walking for extra income in the winter season when it was quiet and many other foreign nationals wanted to return to their home countries for visits or holidays. There were also many stray cats which had to be fed and monitored in the villages, Inc vet programs and sterilisations.
