From a family who have always owned animals, from a horse to a gerbil and everything in between, and they have been a much loved important part of my life. Owning and caring for my own horse from the age of thirteen made me realize I am confident with the handling of large animals. In addition to this while completing the City and Guilds Dog Grooming course I have also been given the confidence to handle a wide range of dog breeds and sizes while providing me with an introduction to breed characteristics and behaviors. I love the outdoors as the saying goes, there is no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothing and my own dog Holly, a very stubborn Nine Year old Border Terrier keeps me out in the woods and in my local community. I adore animals, with their wellbeing, and happiness being my main concern. I have worked until recently in a busy grooming salon. I currently walk and dog sit the pets of friends and family. I have a Canine First Aid qualification.
