My experience ranges from owning family pets i.e. large dogs, horses, guinea pigs, hamsters and fish. The majority of my experience is geared towards horses and dogs, including basic command training (including breaking in horses to ride) and building confidence within individual animals, allowing human animal barriers to be broken down. I also have 6 months experience on a show yard as a groomer for up to 15 horses. My passion, which was initiated by owning family pets, spread to filling a degree in Animal Behaviour and Marine Biology (Bsc). My degree has allowed me to gain knowledge in animal welfare, nutrition and behaviour. After my time at Anglia Ruskin University, I am looking to gain as much experience with as many different animals as possible. Therefore, I am always willing to learn and gain more knowledge.
