I spent nearly 1 year working in a dog gym where my role was post exercise care and front of house/receptionist. In post exercise care, we would us techniques we were taught in workshops to calm the dogs down and help their recovery after exercise. In reception, we would greet the clients but we would also stretch and prime the dogs before the session. Over the course of the year, I handled all sizes of dogs within and outside the premises.
