Practical Canine Training is a Fully insured service that offers a Balanced, Common Sense approach to Handling Client's dogs. As a Dog walker I will guide your dog into learning to walk to heel and behave around distractions (will show you as Client how I do it as well if requested). I also offer Dog Sitting Services, Feeding/Pop in Visits and Training in the areas of Household Dog Obedience (Getting a Good "Walk", Calmness and manners around the House and Garden) and Behavioural Modification (e.g. Jumping, Nipping, Counter Surfing, Excessive Barking, Fence Chasing, Leash Reactivity, Resource Guarding). Dog Training involves the Balanced Method teaching your Dog Yes and No. Reward & Correction based training. My personal Dogs are trained to assist with socialisation and help your dog work through Behavioural Issues. This includes ensuring my client is fully taught methods to maintain any changes worked on with the Dog. I own 2 personal dogs both rescued with issues and now fully off lead trained (inc. around Wildlife, cats and livestock). I have also expanded my skills by fostering Dogs for the last 3 years who have had a wide variety of issues that I have helped rehabilitate for new homes.
