I have always been around animals, especially dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters and fish. As a child, we always had pets and when I had my own children, we thought it important to have pets for teaching the children compassion and responsibility. We had two cats, a dog, two rabbits and two rats. I took our dog to obedience classes, as I think it's very important for a dog to be trained. Whilst I was a house wife and mother, I walked dogs for the RSPCA. Now I live in Rotherham with my partner who has two dogs and I look after my daughter's dog often.
