I have over 30 years experience living with and caring for dogs, cats and other little animals. I absolutely adore animals, whether they are fluffy or slimy. Taking care of pets can be such a rewarding experience. It helps the pet become more sociable and trusting and in return can help it gain confidence. I love having cuddle and talk time with my pet, I love nothing more than making him feel loved and safe and that is probably the same kind of thing you do for your pet(s) too.
