Nicky cared for my mother for a couple of months and the only reason we asked her to stop coming was that my mother felt she needed more independence, otherwise Nicky would still be caring for her. Nicky worked opposite another carer and as far as I know they got on well. We found her to be honest, reliable and willing to adapt to my mother's needs and requirements. She was willing to change her hours at short notice, worked the extra 15 to 30 minutes over her set times if circumstances dictated, and kept me informed of any problems encountered with my mother. I am sorry to see her go.
