I have some previous pet-care experience as I looked after an elderly dog with specialist needs (insulin injections) over the summer which gave me advanced knowledge of taking care of a particularly vulnerable animal. This, to me, was not a burden however, as I found the experience fun and completely enriching. Animals are one of my passions and to help give them a great quality of life, even for a few hours of my time is honouring!
