I have my own dog, Freddy, who is a 6 year old Lurcher, he is people and animal friendly and lives with my two cats: Monica and Larry who are both happy to be around Freddy and my friend's dogs. Freddy, Monica and Larry have lived together harmoniously for 6.5 years; Monica and Larry came to live with me before Freddy. Over the years I have had looked after many pets for family and friends: we had dear Luwi, a very handsome Greyhound, live with us for a month while his owner was on holiday. I had my sister's lovely dog Bailey and her gorgeous Persian cat, Cilla , live with me for over a year while my sister was moving house. I have cat-sat for many friends over the years and have also looked after fish and hamsters for friends and family while they have been working away from home or on holiday. I have also walked and cared for a friend's Husky on a regular basis. My mission statement is that all pets need kindness, caring, good food and common sense from their owners and carers; in my experience one of the biggest joys for dogs is their walks.
