My skills and experience with animals began with being a proud pet owner all my life, from hamsters, cats, dogs and now a snake. I am comfortable and have experience with a wide range of pets. This is supported by my college course which allowed me to gain an extended diploma in animal management. The course also introduced me to not only experience in veterinary care but also rescue centres and boarding kennels through our work placement scheme. Despite, my change in career in University, my love for animals and their care continues to be a strong part of my life and I wish to utilise the skills I have learnt over my years despite this change.
