I've been arounds a wide range of animals all my life, and as I grow older, my enthusiasm for giving the best animal care possible only continues to grow. I grew up on and around farms where I cared for cows, sheep, and horses. I assisted in my first dog litter when I was 5 and I have been caring for animals ever since. Currently I have a Border Collie cross Labrador who is in training to become an assistant dog. Learning how to train her, and successfully doing so, has been incredibly rewarding. I also have 5 pet rats who were all rescues, and 2 budgies which are also rescues. I have experience training both and I am comfortable with all types of rodent and bird. In terms of exotic animals, I have experience with tortoises, snakes, and lizards. Animals fill me with so much love and joy, which is why I want to do this full time.
