I am currently working in a dog groomers, growing experience to then train to get my qualification in dog grooming. I have always had a great interest in animals from a young age especially dogs, I love spending time with dogs and growing a relationship with them in my current work as well as looking after their health and needs during the grooming process. I feel that creating a bond and having 1 to 1 time with peoples pets is very important as it builds up a trust aspect, ensuring that the dogs feel comfortable in my care as the grooming experience can be very scary for dogs of all ages. By taking 1 on 1 time with them it ensures they are more at ease and are more likely to see the grooming process as a fun environment for them rather than seeing it as a punishment (like going to the vet) there is nothing more rewarding to me when dogs come in happy with wagging tails and excited to see me.
