Hi! My name is Mathilde, I am a 21 year-old animal lover. I grew up in the French countryside where I was surrounded by dogs, cats and rabbits ever since I was born. I currently work in Social Care and help look after adults with mental difficulties but I mainly enjoy looking after our four-legged friends (or three-legged, who knows!). In the past, I have trained 5 dogs to do simple tricks: Respond to their name; Fetch; Complete short obstacle courses; As well as respond to a simple line of questioning: "Do you want food? Do you want water? Do you want to go on a walk?". I have also potty-trained multiple dogs and cats. I currently share my apartment with a lovely little kitten and a pygmy hedgehog so I am not afraid of looking after various species at the same time! I like to consider animals like friends rather than pets and adapt to their different personalities to create a bond with them as I would with a person. I also like to keep myself informed on new scientific studies regarding our animals and how to better interact and bond with them. I hope to meet your little hairy (or scaly) best friend soon!
