Hi, I'm Maggie, I'm 20 years old and I'm studying Animal care at the Scottish rural college in Coupar. I've lived majority of my life on the Isle of Arran on the West coast of Scotland but am originally from the Italian alps, in which my mother and grand parents grew up on their very own farm. As I was also raised near this environment and visited them often on their farm, I immediately developed a deep sense of love and care for all the different types of animals they had (goats, chickens, cows etc). Aside from looking forward to seeing them, I also had a deeper interest for caring for them all, which i believe has greatly helped me truly empathise with the animals i look after. As well as this, I couldn't help nagging my family for oets, so we've kept and cared for our cat and dog for as long as i can remember and have always had pets to play with and care for.
