I have been surrounded by dogs all my life, my mother and aunt both owned and bred German Shepherds and this was a big part of my childhood. As a teenager I helped at my local vets in the school holidays and after I had finished my education I was offered a part time role there as a secretary. As the years went by my interest in Falconry piqued and I was offered the opportunity to be mentored by a Falconer which I jumped at! I have since trained my own birds of prey and have also rehomed and retrained birds through centres that have been given up by their owners. As well as training raptors I currently do some dog walking and general household cleaning for a client. I have my own dogs and also help a friend to show her dogs at open and championship level exhibiting.
