I love all animals of all ages and sizes and I think the connection you build with an animal is so special which is why I take a caring approach when I look after someone else’s animal. While I have never worked with animals professionally, I have lived with animals my entire life: My family had dogs, cats, fish and snakes growing up and always loved walking my friend’s and neighbour’s dogs whenever they were in a pinch. I also volunteered for a local shelter in my hometown as a dog walker which gave me a lot of joy. The time spent with animals is so rejuvenating that I would love to make it my part-time work next to university!
