At the age of 32 I got my first dog, a border collie and boy what a challenge that was. This high energy, reactive puppy was going to be a challenge. I've worked with 3 different dog trainers over the years with my dog gaining different experience and training techniques. I feel confident in handling reactive dogs using the correct lead and training. The hard work and patience it had taken led me to want to work with other dogs daily. It gives me such pride to see my dog not react to a car when he previously would, and to give kisses, and spin and wave (we have a plethora of tricks) and to get to take care of people's beloved animals while they have other commitments would give me such honour and pride.
