I have gained invaluable experience working for a variety of animal welfare organisations, from large established rescues like the RSPCA and the Dogs Trust to a small independant rescue like Thornberry Animal Sanctuary. It has been a privilage and honour to work for each organisation and I have gained a wealth of experience and practical knowledge to take forward into my next endever. I have over 7 years of experience working in animal rescue, I have experienced working with all types of animals and am comfortable handling, feeding and administering medication to a variety of species. It is not an easy job working in rescue and requires you to be sensible, organised and above all caring and compassionate. I have worked with animals with a variety of behavioural issues and I am comfortable and confident in working with any animal that may have these. I have experience with basic training and only use positive reinforcement methods.
