Hello. I have just moved to Heretfordshire and I'm looking for animal care jobs as I miss being around animals all the time in Devon. Throughout my childhood and into young adulthood I have always had lots of animals under my care, from pets (including horses, dogs, rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs, hamsters and fish), to helping out at a kennels/cattery and volunteering at a riding stables. As someone with a rescue dog who has endless amounts of energy combined with anxitey and attachment issues left over from being mistreated in the past, I know the trouble that comes with leaving some pets in kennels and the like. So if I could offer any animals the small comfort of staying in the environment they're used to whilst their owners are away that would be so rewarding for me! I may not have animal related employment experience but I have a great deal of love and care to give, a lot of experience through my own pets and volunteering and lots of free time to make myself useful, as I am a filmmaker and so much of my work is freelance.
