Hi, I'm Katrina. I've spent a lifetime around dogs and birds (parrots, finches, poultry, pigeons and waterfowl), and also cats and a plethora of small mammals including ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs and various exotics. I'm an ornithologist with years of experience working with live birds. I've also worked in kennels and zoos, and have always kept and bred animals of my own. As a mature person I have commonsense and a practical aptitude. I'm resourceful, knowledgeable about animal husbandry and happy to muck out cages as well as undertaking other tasks like watering plants or putting the bins out. I have no other regular commitments so I'm usually available at short notice. Can provide references.
