I'm 48yrs of age. I grew up with dogs as family pets entering them in contests....gained a 3rd place with our Jack Russell. I am a professional operating department practitioner in Scarborough theatres however I'm unable to carry out my role due to a traumatic brain injury sustained 29th October last year. I have time, patience and a caring playful and serious demeanor when required and I believe the companionship, trust and purpose will not only allow for good rapport between myself and the animal but will assist my recovery at the same time. I love walking and Scarborough offers many trails and of course the beach so plenty of outdoors to exercise dogs. I am confident in bathing pets when necessary. As with patients; animals are similar in that I have the ability to sense when to act/react and when not to and they can sense this in me. I cannot have a pet as I'm in a top floor flat with no garden access.
