I am a PhD candidate in English Literature at the University of Edinburgh, with a passion for animals. Since moving to Edinburgh in 2020, I have amassed an ever-growing network of people and pets for whom I provide a pet-sitting service. As such, I have regular experience of handling a variety of animals and breeds, and I am proficient at forging and maintaining trusting relationships with owners. Having grown up with dogs, cats, hamsters, a corn snake, and tropical fishes, I am highly perceptive when it comes to animal behaviour and body language. My flexibility and adaptability enables me to accommodate the differing needs and personalities of pets entrusted into my care, and I offer home visits, and a live-in service. For dog-owners - my fastidious approach to detail and problem-solving skills allow me to identify potential hazards on walks promptly and resolve any issues effectively. My patient, calm demeanour is particularly helpful when handling anxious or stubborn dogs, and as I practice yoga daily, my physical fitness proves invaluable when walking multiple dogs and/or larger breeds.
