I have 30+ years of experience in caring for dogs, cats, kittens, rabbits, birds and small mammals. I aim to provide a very high standard of care, love and attention to all animals and endeavour to treat any pets I care for as I would my own. I am known to friends and family as an animal lover and will rescue any creature I come across in the streets if they are in need - rescueing wildlife including wild birds and hedgehogs. I have experience in looking after animals with extra health needs and disabilities including those on regular medication, from young to geriatric. At home I have a kitten, 4 house bunnies, a parrot and a leopard gecko.I can provide welfare and safety checks, feeding, play sessions, grooming, toilet trips/litter cleans and possibly administer medications and transport to vet visits. My professional background is within the NHS including community nursing and I am currently part of the nursing team in a GP surgery.
