My name is Joana and I am a nurse, traveller and animal lover. I have got 2 dogs (both rescue) and a bunny back home and miss them a lot. I found petsitting a great way of being around pets whilst I'm not able to have my own. I have traveled all over the world and lived in many different countries which made me adjust to different settings and expectations quickly. In addition to dogs, I've also had fish as a child and grew up near a farm where I had contact with chicken and bigger animals such as horses, cows and pigs. I've looked after friends' cats too - I love being around animals. I am patient, kind and flexible (and also a non-smoker). I have looked after big and small dogs, cats, poultry and fish, both through apps and for friends. As a nurse, I'm quite comfortable with pets that have special needs and/ or need regular medication and am also good at keeping the pet parents informed and up to date with everything.
