I like to involve current training programs advised by yourself/the pet owner/trainer to keep authority consistent (for eg for younger dogs) and to keep your pet at ease without too much change in their care routine (old or young). I’m an elderly carer by trade with a level 3 in health and social care. I have experience as an au-pair and caring for mentally/physically challenged children and adults too. I have dog-sat for all of my sisters dogs for long durations and dog-walked as a side job since I was 12. I have owned fish, guinea-pigs and rabbits and have cared for many cats and any pets owned by families I’ve cared for during the last 3 years home-visiting and live-in caring (elderly care), so I’m very adaptable to different people’s pets and individualities. I trust myself fully with health, safety and logistics (I own a high roof ford transit van) so I am happy to safely transport however many pets to go somewhere for a big walk for example.
