I love dogs and have lived with multiple since I was young, however I currently only have one dog who is a lovely 5 year old German Shepherd rescue. I am currently studying a part-time animal management and care course at college, as well as working part time in a kennels and cattery! I have also done basic dog grooming, and both agility and obedience training with my own dog. All of these experiences have given me the basic skills to care for dogs, as well as more intermediate skills such as being able to read different behaviours, work with rescue dogs, administer oral medications and be familiar with training, grooming and first aid techniques. I am comfortable with walking larger dogs as I believe I am good at controlling them, as well as being patient and gentle with them. I am also happy to walk elderly dogs and dogs with joint problems as I am comfortable with catering to their specific needs. From owning dogs I know that they become a special part of the family and I will offer a service which treats them as such!
