I have cared for and owned horses for 7 years; this includes feeding, riding and grooming them. I’ve owned my horse Magic for five years, who I do all of the above with as well as training him to respect people’s personal space better (he’s quite bolshy at times). I also tend to my friend’s 6 dogs whenever she and her family are out of town. I feed them, walk them, ensure they have enough water throughout the day and keep them company when required. I spent some time working at my local stables too, helping to care for the horses by feeding them, making sure they have the correct rugs on when it’s cold, taking them to and from their fields and cleaning out their stables.
