Hi, I’m Helen. I am a personal fitness trainer, yoga teacher, and HUGE animal lover. I sometimes think I love animals more than I love humans - isn’t a problem though!! My line of work means that I am always on the go and as much as I love what I do, I also wanted to incorporate it alongside sharing some of my time with furry, four legged critters. Over the years my hubby and I have done house and pet sits and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the dogs/cats/ducks/geese and chickens we have been guardians too (even though I have cried buckets when I have to leave). Recently, whilst dog sitting and walking for our landlord, I had a thought that I should combine my love of exercise, fresh air and animals with a business more attuned to me. Hence Barefoot and Paws was borne. Barefoot because I am also minus shoes if I can be and I also run in vibrams (barefoot shoes) so it has become something of a nickname!
