Having lost my dog who was my best friend and companion of 13 years earlier this year, I feel like the animal care sector is something which I have complete passion and determination for. I am a 24 year old who is currently living in Steventon, Abingdon and I have years of personal experience with animals ranging from dogs, cats, small mammals and birds. Alongside my animal care experience, I have been a Lifeguard for over 8 years. During my leisure career I have gained much confidence when dealing with customers and feel that my time at the centre taught me a lot and aided my personal growth. Last year I completed an Animal Management course at Bath College. I looked after various animals on site and also took part in work experience at Bath Cats and Dogs Home. Here I walked many different dogs, some with behavioural problems and gained a lot of experience in a cat and dog rescue setting. I have previously walked and completed dog and cat sitting in family friends homes and feel that I can offer a great service to yourselves and your pets!
