Hello, my name is Gemma and I run a professional and reliable dog walking and pet care service in the new forest and Southampton called The Animal Angel. I am canine first aid trained, insured and have a clear DBS police check. I have a lifetime of experience with a wide range of animals. I currently have 4 rescue dogs, a cat, 3 rabbits, 1 guinea pig, and a crazy ferret! I also have experience with horses (volunteered at a stables), terrapins, tortoises, rats, hamsters and even hermit crabs. Because I have had numerous animals I have extensive experience with medical issues, behavioural problems etc. Two of my current dogs require strict exercise regimes and daily medication. I have dealt with and rehabilitated dogs with spinal injuries, a brain tumour, incontinence and heart problems. I have a keen interest in canine psychology as after adopting 2 dogs from oversees with various behavioural problems and I have had to learn behavioural training very quickly, because if these experiences I am currently training to become a canine behaviourist and myotherapist. I can help out with dog walking, cat/small pet visits and also puppy visits if they require loo breaks, feeding or socialisation.
