I've been allowed to stay at people’s houses to look after their pets when they were away. Responsibilities included walking, feeding, washing, handling pet medication, trimming, and clipping the pet's toenails. I am able to pamper breeds ranging from big Chow Chows to cute little Jack Russell’s. This variety in dog breeds caused me to learn more about different dog breeds and their fur coats. I have experience grooming dogs with sensitive skin and allergies to certain chemicals, which led me to gain knowledge of various massage techniques, special shampoos for dogs with skin conditions, different trimming tools, and aftercare. I am able to relax dogs when being washed and having their nails clipped. I have also looked after rescue dogs in the past who have been neglected and needed extra care.
