My previous experience includes the following: Throughout my life I have owned both dogs & cats, all of which I have been the main carer of. I am aware of their needs and will happily provide them with the love and support they need. Currently I have a 5 year old Border Collie, she is a beautiful girl. Lightning (my dog) is a very nervous dog so I have taken the steps to learn about the collie breed and canine behaviour. In June I gained a qualification in animal behaviour which enables me to read dogs & cats stress signals and communication. I also currently volunteer at a Dogs & Cats Home and at my local veterinary surgery. I am a calm individual and enjoy being around animals very much. Why I'm passionate about animals: I absolutely love animals so their welfare & happiness is very important to me. My dog in particular has really sparked a fire in me to take care of animals because of her sensitive and nervous nature. I feel it is our job to learn about cats and dogs to understand their needs and make them feel as comfortable and confident in the domesticated world as possible. Due to my passion for animals, I would make it my mission to ensure any animal which I am trusted to look after will be happy and secure.
