Hello! My name is Elisa, I grew up on a farm and you could always find me where the animals were, whether playing with the dogs, making friends with the cows, checking if the chicken laid any eggs or...desperately (and pointlessly) trying to train rabbits to follow instructions. Yeah I know... My grandfather used to call me Saint Francis (aka the animals whisperer), he couldn't fathom how I could walk in the midst of a pack of bulls remaining unharmed or try and rescue drowning bees and never get stung...(I sound like a bit of a loonie now, but somehow I had an eye for it and I could see bees and insects struggling in little pools of water). I just think I understand animals and they understand me, and I have a lot of patience and calm. Well, another funny episode: during lockdown I've had a couple of emotional breakdowns and asked my boyfriend to help me find some horses because I really needed to see them. My tears literally stopped at the sight of the first horse, case solved, happy boyfriend. I clearly love animals and I'm very aware of the role they play in our lives and how much they mean to their human friends, and I would love to give you a hand in taking care of your animal friends when you need it.
