I am currently on a year out before I start university in September. I have just got back from Bansko, Bulgaria where I lived for a month and volunteered at a local dog shelter. We did some amazing work. I learnt much about animal care and bonded with even the trickiest dogs. I live with 2 dogs myself, and have grown up around them. I feel that I can connect quickly with animals; and understand their boundaries. If had to walk multiple dogs at once in Bulgaria! Some who hated walks and others that never wanted them to end. Therefore I’m sure I can encourage doggies who aren’t as keen for a walk and also accommodate for those who need long walks. As for cats, I live with four: Harry, Sid, Lily and Hugo.
