Hello! I’m Drew, an animal lover and proud owner of a 16-year-old Parsons Terrier named Betty. Since she joined my life, my passion for animals has blossomed, teaching me the importance of love, empathy, and compassion for all creatures. Recently, I worked as a live-in caregiver for a family, supporting their son and caring for their Lagotto Romagnolo. My duties included daily walks, feeding, stocking food, and monthly grooming trips. We formed a deep bond, and he often slept in my bed, making goodbye hard. Through this, I saw the importance of reliable animal care when families have commitments. Afterward, I traveled to Bulgaria to volunteer with Every Dog Matters, a non-profit rescuing stray dogs in Western Bulgaria. Working with an amazing team, I helped care for 140 dogs daily—feeding, walking, grooming, medical care, socialization, and shelter upkeep. We also cared for eight independent yet delightful cats. Additionally, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for a friend’s Ragdoll cat over two summers. This experience deepened my understanding of cats, and I’m now an aspiring cat owner.
