I am a second year Zoology student at Lincoln University. From 14 - 18 I worked at a small childrens farm, in this role I gained valuable skills caring for all types of animals including many popular household pets such as - rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, hamsters and reptiles. At my time in this role I encountered animals of all temperaments - making me a suitable sitter. I have also undertaken a work placement at Medivet, where I was able to assist in the care of domestic and wild animals. Part of each day I spent there was occupied by dog walking - I walked dogs of all sizes, ages and also those with health conditions and those rehabilitating post treatment. In addition to this - my university course better preps me for caring for animals - including learning about behaviour and gaining hands on experience with a range of animals. I have also cared for my own pets since the age of 7 - demonstrating my responsibility and genuine love for animals. I am a confident, friendly and trustworthy individual who would honoured to help in any way I can.
