I am extremely passionate about all animals and my goals are to always work with animals in the future. I spent a year working in a zoo in Dubai with all types of animals - from exotic animals like monkeys, porcupines, beavers and big cats to domestic animals such as dogs, cats, horses and sheep. I actually adopted a rescued cat from the zoo while I was working there and he is now here in Brighton with me :) I also have one year work experience volunteering at a cat clinic, where I was responsible for around 25 cats at a time. My responsibilities included feeding, cleaning, administering medications and of course lots of cuddles. I have always had pet dogs, cats, rabbits and hamsters (especially cats) growing up and I have two pet rats and a cat at the moment. Growing up I also did some dog walking and pet sitting for extra pocket money. Unfortunately, my cat Kimba passed away a year ago (aged 17) due to a 3 year battle with kidney disease. Towards the end he was definitely quite sick and very frail so I do have experience caring for an older cat and administering medications. Apart from that I have a bachelors and masters degree in Ecology and Animal Conservation and I am currently doing an online Animal Behaviour course.
