I have previously worked in a veterinary practice and have great experience with handling animals. My job role varied from day to day as Caddy Country Practice was a very busy Veterinary Practice. Many clients visited the practice or phoned in to order repeat prescriptions or to ask for advice or for products for farm animals. Whilst answering the phones, serving clients, dispensing/ordering prescriptions, taking messages, scheduling consults, answering/sorting/distributing in-going & outgoing mail & emails and cash handling, I also provided the general upkeep of animals in our care and delivered individualised attention to them so they stay healthy and happy. I cleaned the cages, fed and cared for the inpatients, walked the dogs, did laundry, cleaned and maintained hospital premises and assisted the Vets when necessary.
