My experience includes one year on a level 3 animal management course where I gained experience handling and caring for small animals, reptile, amphibians and some farm animals such as alpacas and goats. As part of my course I completed 150 hours of work experience at my local veterinary practice where I was able to watch operations along with helping to keep the kennels clean and the supplies topped up. I helped package medicine and fill up the vaccination cabinets. I also have my own animals including a house rabbit, goldfish, a giant African land snail and a tarantula.
