I have been around dogs my entire life, my family have always had dogs which they raised alongside the children (for giving the children a companion and they have always been considered as part of the family). Although this is my first time signing up to work with dogs, it is like second nature for me to be around them. I understand the precious role they take within people's lives, and I can say with confidence that they tend to feel quite comfortable around me, and I am able to read their personalities/moods pretty instinctively. Both of my dogs have completely different personalities (introverted/extraverted, as well as one dog with anxiety) as well as energy levels and needs, so I strongly feel that I would be able to adapt to a variety of pets. I have experience caring for elderly dogs which are more on the fragile side, young pups or, very energetic and hyper dogs, which would be more on the chaotic side.
