I’m a young physically fit person so I can handle the excise that animals especially dogs require. I have 4 dogs of my own, all are large cross breed types that I walk and can control confidently. I have experience with horses, as long as I’m briefed about specific requirements and routines I’m good to go. I’ve worked for a rescue centre so I’ve dealt with farmyard animals, also including domesticated animals, such as, rabbits, cats, G-Pigs etc. I currently work for an OOH veterinary practice so I’m forever dealing with animals and I know all of the safety precautions. I have my own car so transport isn’t an issue, I work the late shift at my current job on a rota, consequently I’m only available of a night if I’m not on shift. I’ve been a foster mum for 4, day old kittens, a few bunnies all of which are in their forever homes now. I will give my everything to whoever I have the responsibility for, I’m reliable and my work ethic is fantastic due to the nature of the job. I have my own car so getting around isn’t an issue. I have training in how to give meds to animals, such as pills, syringe feeding.
