Hi I am 22 years old and have just finished my third and final year at university where I studied animal behaviour. Previous to this I have a level 3 advanced technical extended diploma in animal management and a level 2 certificate of technical competence in pet sitting which was obtained from when I attended an animal based college. The college allowed me to interact with, and handle a variety of animals including amphibians, reptiles, fish and small mammals, as well as some farm animals. However, my main focus is centered around providing services for cats and dogs for the fact that I own them and deal with them on a daily basis, so this is the area in which I am most confident in. I have a 9 year old German Shepherd named Poppy, a 7 year old Chihuahua called Scout and 3 cats (1 boy and 2 girls) named Biggie, Bella and Ivy that are 8 years old. Walking my dog keeps me active; I sometimes walk her in the woods nearby or on pavement. I am a big softie for animals and always make sure they are my number one priority when they are in my care. I have had previous experiences in pet sitting for family and friends and had a client who I helped with specifically dog walking.
