I am seeking additional income via pet caring. Although I am new to this as a career, I have been around pets and animals my entire life. My mother has three cats and two dogs, and one of those cats recently turned 20. Returning home to see my cat is one of my favourite parts of the year. We had numerous cats and rabbits growing up and, although we did not get our first dog until I was 14, I have experience caring for and loving pets as key family members. In addition to this experience, I have a number of skills that I have gained throughout my life and career that would translate well to a pet-caring role. My well-practised skills in organisation and juggling competing priorities would be useful here. I completed my Masters degree in Political Communication part-time whilst also working full-time night shifts in the media monitoring industry. I have also worked at a public affairs agency where I juggled numerous clients, meeting their high expectations and managing the set hours allotted for each client. My communication skills will also be key in ensuring all parties have their expectations made aware, and fully understood. Clients can expect succinct, clear and timely communication from me regarding their pet.
