I have always been around dogs growing up and that’s where my passion and love for them started. I started my apprenticeship at a doggy day care in October 2019, where I learnt training techniques, handling techniques, breeds characteristics etc, not only did I learn the theory side of dogs but I am hands on with them at my work place at all times, I work individually with around 10 dogs at a time and as a team with up to 20-25 dogs, I also give the dogs feeds and do training & playful activities throughout the day for enrichment. I have a level 2 in animal care and welfare and dog handling, I have been involved in my workplaces puppy training classes, and have completed a first aid workshop for dogs.
