I grew up with Newfoundland dogs & was their primary trainer & carer - everything from daily walks & meals, obedience & advanced training, grooming, to administering medications. I've also fostered other dogs, helping to socialize & train them while they waited for their forever families. I currently dogsit for friends & love taking their little Havanese on walks in the park, but I miss having more regular dog time in my life. I hope I can help care for yours! I'm currently the proud cat-mom of a very sweet Siamese (Milo). He is my first, but he's taught me so much in the last 2.5 years, & I've cat-sat for several neighbors in the past. I've had him since he was a kitten, and we do lots of varied play to keep him active & engaged. We've also done a lot of training from basic commands like "Sit" & "Twirl" to more advanced like learning appropriate non-destructive scratching places, and "Quiet" -- quite a feat for a chatty Siamese!
